Life lately has been pretty calm—in the best way.
We started a game night with friends recently (10/10 recommend), and in a totally unrelated event, I also managed to win “Most Losses” at Bunco which is both humbling and iconic. Talk about making an impression for my first bunco experience. 😅
I found my official summer Sonic drink (mermaid water—it’s giving beachy vibes and sugar), my clientele is picking up at work (I am even getting rebooked!), and I’ve been reading Charlotte’s Web with my youngest. Which… I finally have a kid that loves reading just as much as me!
So yeah—nothing life-changing, just some little life things that feel worth remembering.
🛍 Things I Bought (that I probably didn’t need)
- $1.25 L.A. Colors eyeshadow sticks from Dollar Tree that honestly? Slay.
- Easter Salt & Pepper Shakers from target. ( Although.. I am starting a holiday S/P collection..)
- A Stanley water bottle in shimmer light blue for summer because it shimmers. duh!
- This cute top from T.J Maxx
📚 Things I Read (and emotionally spiraled over)
- A Thousand Boy Kisses + A Thousand Broken Pieces — I cried like someone was personally attacking my soul and I recommended them immediately to everyone I know. Classic behavior.
- Currently reading Charlotte’s Web with my youngest and somehow it’s still just as emotional as it was when I was little.
- Trying to find a new book that doesn’t completely ruin me, but also doesn’t bore me to death. A challenge, honestly. Recommendations always welcome.
💄 Current Obsessions
- Tower 28 SOS Spray – spritzing this like it’s setting spray for my sanity.
- Bioderma Micellar Water – my lazy-girl holy grail.
🧠 Random Thoughts
- Being 35 means I care deeply about skincare but also forget what day it is constantly.
- So that’s where all the cups, bowls and silverware went… ( teen cleaning his room up)
- Romanticizing drinking my coffee at home.. because saving money is the adult thing to do. 🙄

- Decorate for Easter
- Shop at Old Navy for comfy spring clothes I can feel cute in
- Start (and maybe finish?) my very first cross stitch project
- Find a new book to read (I’m thinking a thriller)
