I used 100 of my Sephora points on a mascara a few days ago. The name promised “extreme lashes,” and I figured it might be worth trying. I finally tested it today… and honestly, I don’t think I’ll be reaching for it again.
It definitely added length, but the way it separated and clumped my lashes gave more of a spidery look than anything full or soft. I couldn’t help but think of Yzma from The Emperor’s New Groove—a little dramatic, a little intense, and not quite what I was hoping for.

What’s funny is that 20-something me would’ve probably loved this. There was a time when spidery lashes were exactly the vibe I was going for. But now? I just want fullness. Something softer, thicker, more defined without looking harsh. This one just missed the mark.

I ended up throwing on my glasses to tone it all down a bit. And honestly, I’d rather just grab a pair of semi-glam lashes if I want something extra. This mascara didn’t come close to my usual go-to, and I wish I saved my points.
